A Beast Digimon with distinctive golden fur and bull-like features that lives in mountainous areas. Traces of psychokinetic energy course through its golden fur, protecting it against both stormy weather and enemy attacks. Takinmon's horns can generate psychokinetic energy to levitate boulders or other objects, glowing gold when they do so. Aside from offensive purposes, it also uses this energy to forge paths through the mountains. It is said it sometimes accidentally makes Gotsumon float while doing so, leading to fights.

　In its Horn Rush special move, Takinmon charges at its opponent to gore them with its horns. It can also use Rock Missile to fire off boulders with psychokinetic energy; the boulders continue to home in on the target even if they manage to dodge, making this attack extremely difficult to defend against.
