This is where I’ve been when not managing things with Sagaverse. I burn with a passion to write and ramble from time to time when I get the opportunity, particularly about creative pursuits.
As for my persona above, credit goes to @revolvius for making it. He really put a lot of effort into it.
Right now, I’m working to get Etherrift: Revelation, an Undertale AU fanfic, ready for all of you to look into. An AU fanfic that I wanted to flesh out for quite some time, and its beginning is coming very soon.
It’s a world where fantastical magic, unprecedented technology, and untold social discourse impacts the lives of humans and monsters alike. One where there is much more darkness than what its setting may imply at first. Even Frisk and company is going to have a hard time upon reaching the Surface here.
It will be some time before I can get it out properly, so I may do smaller posts for the time being. If you find some unrelated posts to either Sagaverse or Etherrift, it likely means I’m just rambling again. In the mean time though, I look forward to hearing from you all.
For Tale Weaver from Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie
With anxious thoughts racing through her mind, Mavis prayed that a change would come in her life. She was surrounded by evil people, committing all manner of inhumane acts towards each other, with violence a daily occurrence. At age 69, her only hope was to find a new place to live, preferably near water, a place where beauty springs forth in…
They called me an ugly duckling,
The one that no one would befriend.
But, I saw myself as a swan-in-waiting,
Knowing my beauty would come in the end.
It mattered not to me what others said,
Or of the names they called me to my face.
For I knew that underneath my gray facade,
I was filled with God’s wonder and grace.
Because the value and worth of every person
Aren’t determined by what…

No Apologies for Being a Bookworm: Tale Weaver #318
Don’t panic! I just have to reshelve them after some electrical work!
I am an unapologetic bookworm,
With books spread out everywhere.
To live to read them all and enjoy them
Is my hope and one of my prayers.
On top of all the tangible books you see,
My old Kindle is filled to the hilt.
Books have been like friends to me,
So I keep buying them and feel no guilt.
Written for the Tale…
For Tale Weaver #310 we are asked to write on the prompt Tired and Run Down. Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie states: With a new year upon us and the stresses of 2020 behind us, (or are they), consider the new year and what it brings to us. For many of us older folk, being tired and run down is often a daily event. I want to take another tack.
I am tired some days, admittedly, but not yet run…
I could sit and listen to the commentary
Until I became a basket case and just cried.
But, I chose to do something a little different,
To assuage the shame and fear I feel inside.
I chose to listen to some music and dance,
To keep me distracted from all of the news.
Barry White singing of first, last, and everything
Reminded me that life is more than the blues.
As I twirled and twisted…
Received for Christmas, 2020
For the Tale Weaver Challenge for December 24, Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie requested that because it is Christmas Eve, respondents write about a gift you received or gave, or about being gifted in some way. I chose the cookbook we received for Christmas. I love the giver, but these are some of the most complicated meals I ever seen!
I am the worst of bad…
The sky was bloodshot. The rays of the rising sun cast a reddish glow over the morning sky and painted the clouds red. The morning rays kissed the waiting horizon and spread the light gradually but steadily, dispelling the blanket of darkness. The Golden Orb was yet to make his appearance but his magnificent rays set the tone for his spectacular entry. Sunrises are glorious and spectacular.…
