Upon wake, bleary eyes met the sun which blinded him momentarily and he did not hesitate to rise from the floor, dusting the dirt off of his uniform. Slaine then noted that his surroundings consisted of a forest that was seemingly quiet and peaceful- quite the opposite of what he was in before. This mysterious forest did not seem to be a war ground or anything of the sorts. But rather, an abandoned clearing with a village not too far up ahead. Perhaps someone would have answers there pertaining to where he was. He definitely was not in Japan, Russia or the Vers Empire since there weren't any people or Kataphrakt's to be seen. It was strange. Just how long had he been asleep?
Pulling himself up, Slaine then began dusting the rest of his uniform off, fixing the wrinkles that made themselves into the navy blue shirt probably from lying on the ground for too long. Now looking posh and clean like he was supposed to be, the pilot then made his way towards the village. There were a couple of villagers wandering about who seemed to live there. He was in luck! After reaching his destination which was only but a couple of minutes away, Slaine then began to approach some of the supposed citizens of this village but they seemed confused merely by his presence. A couple of looks were shot at him as people whispered and continued their stroll. They were dressed in older looking outfits, which looked completely different to his more modern uniform.
Confusion was one of the many things that Slaine was feeling at the moment, accompanied by several questions he had for himself and possibly some other people. Was there anyone that he could approach without scaring them off, though? He soon tested this by stepping up to someone that looked a bit out of place, as he probably did as well. This person also looked confused as well- but he then halted in his tracks soon before reaching the other. He didn't know anything about this individual; they could be a Martian, or even a Terran like him. Slaine definitely did not recognize them from his time at the Vers Empire, but it was a small possibility that this person could know who he was. Making eye contact with the other for a single second, the pilot then made a final decision to act slightly reckless and made his way towards this person once more.
"You there," the first moment, his voice was quiet, almost inaudible as he stopped in front of this strange individual. "may I inquire something?" the boy asked, fixing his posture by standing up completely straight and tried to look as formal as possible. Ah, hopefully his uniform wasn't too dirty. But it didn't seem that it mattered since most of these villagers didn't seem to be that posh either.
