I kind of hate stainless steel because EVERYTHING STICKS but I’ve been using the same set for almost 10 years and they’re still kicking, so not bad ig
yeah, that’s definitely a little annoying because i was using cheap nonstick pans before this, but they were aluminum and had started oxidizing after like 3 years and it was gross lol

Was it still good though? I’ve been debating reading it since it came out.
It’s hard for me to say. There are parts I really liked and parts I really hated, and the parts I hated were all toward the end, so those are all I’m thinking about right now. D: There were a lot of plot points that I thought didn’t make much sense, and several things that I think should have gone unexplained because the explanations were really not believable--at least for me. But if you’re curious about it you should read it! I’m obviously in the minority on this opinion so you might end up loving it, haha.

I’ve had to do one of those “your group is the survivor of a plane crash on a snowy mountain, how do you survive” things as an ice breaker 23947823 times and let met tell you, there are L O T of people who think they can just go trekking through the snow to get to civilization. It doesn’t feel contrived or unrealistic to me that your character(s) would be just dumb enough to think it’s possible to get to a neighboring cabin, esp if they’re city folks w/o nature exposure.
That makes me feel a lot better! Neither of the characters are terribly outdoorsy, so maybe it does make sense that they wouldn’t really know if they’re capable or not.
Also, I’ve never heard of using that question as an icebreaker before, but it sounds way more fun than the usual “name three adjectives that describe yourself” or whatever other awkward questions people come up with. xD

be careful with this though, in my experience they grow better with multiple plants because of how they pollinate and grow! i feel like there is no escape from an abundance of zucchini. i am not a big z fan but sliced up and put in foil with some butter on the grill is pretty great. don’t even need salt and pepper!
Ahh, good to know. Although if the one stopped growing at this point, that’d be fine. I already have more than enough, haha. Mmmm grilled sounds good too. I’ve never been THAT much of a zucchini fan either, at least not on its own, but all these ideas are making me hungry.

I haven’t read the book but I saw the movie and it was just… okay?? So the book could be better but I doubt it is so improved that

*that I would have been motivated to watch the movie if I had read it first
I decided to just go ahead and watch the movie, because I looked on Goodreads and the book has mostly bad reviews, haha. And yeaaahh, I thought the movie started out good, but it pretty much fell apart by the end. But oh well, it was worth it for Blake Lively and her array of suits. No regrets!
@talewii sorry you've been dealing with this bullshit too! IT'S THE WORST.
