I find the way Simon announced his and Talia's relationship so much better. It was a yes or no question and he gave a yes or no answer. There wasn't any 'well I think it was pretty obvious' it was just 'yes'

Yo so I DO NOT wanna talk about simon and talia
She's great and he's great but it genuinely makes me uncomfortable to see people's relationships on any social media platform especially youtube not so much because of the relationship but because the way these people's fans come out of the woods either overshipping or straight up hating the relationship. like people invest so much of themselves into social media creators/influences/"celebrities"/or whatever yall wanna call them - and if something changes in the person (especially a relationship!) people are quick to come for their necks. in 2018 we're gonna let internet people keep private what they want/share what they do(nt) want without throwing a fit alright. All y'all children need to acknowledge that these two (and most other yt people) are adults and are not at all bothered by the opinion of a 15 year old fan. Let em be happy!
If you're a simon fan and don't like her then don't bother yourself with her or her business- you're not obligated to like her but you also don't have to hate her. And vice versa!!!

I am so glad that they are both happy. They deserve it. They both work so hard for their fans and they are just both so incredible. I’m so happy that most of the comments on Talia’s post are positive. They are both adults and can make there own decisions, 12 years girls don’t dictate their love life!!
