The Vedanta says that the cosmos springs into view simultaneously with the seer. There is no detailed process of creation. This is said to be yugapat srshti (instantaneous creation). It is quite similar to the creations in dream where the experiencer springs up simultaneously with the objects of experience. When this is told, some people are not satisfied for they are so rooted in objective knowledge. They seek to find out how there can be sudden creation. They argue that an effect must be preceded by a cause. In short, they desire an explanation for the existence of the world which they see around them. Then the Srutis try to satisfy the people with such theories of creation. This method of dealing with the subject of creation is called krama srshti (gradual creation). But the true seeker can be content with yugapat srshti – instantaneous creation

“Assim como sonho e magia...” (5) - Criação Instantânea

"O Vedanta diz que o cosmos surge na visão simultaneamente com o vidente. Não há um processo detalhado da criação. Isto é chamado de srshti yugpat (criação instantânea).

É muito semelhante às criações no sonho onde o experienciador surge simultaneamente com os objectos da experiência. Quando isso é dito, algumas pessoas não ficam satisfeitas porque estão muito enraizadas no conhecimento objectivo. Elas procuram descobrir como pode haver criação súbita. Elas argumentam que um efeito deve ser precedido por uma causa. Em suma, elas desejam uma explicação para a existência do mundo que vêem ao seu redor. Em seguida, as Srutis tentam satisfazer as pessoas com tais teorias da criação. Este método de lidar com o tema da criação é chamado srshti krama (criação gradual). Mas o verdadeiro buscador pode contentar-se com srshti yugpat - criação instantânea "
