Project Freelancer's Alpha squad did not die during the war. Instead, they are scattered throughout UNSC space and they see Epsilon's broadcast from their respective hiding places. They realize Washington is still alive on a tiny little planet in the middle of nowhere. And he needs their help. Meanwhile, Chorus is struggling to survive after the war. Remnants of the pirates and mercenaries are still on the planet causing chaos, and the Chorus soldiers are still at risk. People are dying, food is scarce, and the end doesn't feel like it's any closer than it was before. Old enemies and new friends fall together in this journey to pick apart Chorus's mysteries, work together, survive, and maybe make a friend or two along the way. -This fic is a work in progress. It is Freelancer heavy with a LOT of Chorus interaction-
Wash learns things that confuse him, Carolina get ALL the dishes!, Doctor Loomaua lays down the law and the General, [TRANSLATION IN PROCESS – 36%], Kimball's cocoon, “Has anyone seen Carolina?” “Nope. Must be sleeping.” “Oh…good. She doesn’t do enough of that.”, Izzy does not have enough friendship points, Wash attempts to fix government, Church blinds Carolina, Aiden is not very good with knives.
on rants & ghosts
So deleting comments after the author already replied is a thing now, apparently. Learned that today when I noticed replies floating alone like I was talking to ghosts.
They say we should “write for ourselves” and not care about engagement. Maybe that’s true. But just saying: there is, in fact, a human on the other side of those replies, typing with real fingers and feelings.
Of course, friend!

:)!! Are you in said server?
-all;
My best advice is to find a template server on discord. I can send a link to one. Although I wouldn’t feel comfortable writing your descriptions for you guys because I don’t know you all too personally, and I wouldn’t want to write something that you guys don’t personally agree with or think explains you in the right way.
Understood, thank you. That would be appreciated. Friends?

as someone who is also in the void, what do you need help with for SP? we can try to help you in whatever way possible.
We need help writing our bios, our parents dont know we have socials so we barely have the time.

They got the last laugh. I'll never admit it irl, but they did. They convinced me we should just check in. Just in one year. They wore me down. I caved. Sure enough, they didn't message me. They probably expect me to message them.
I wish it didn't hurt like it did. But it hurts so fucking bad. I've never been played a fool by someone like this. I want to be mad, but I'm just sad. So incredibly sad.
I'm almost betting they'll message in a few days saying, "They didn't realize what day it was." Which will hurt even more.
Or maybe they have won and got leave on their terms. They got me to cave one last time, so now they can sleep in peace.
