YouTube is doing this bullshit again where I can't see the majority of comments... fortunately they're usually viewable on your YouTube studio tab under comments, but damn is it annoying that they aren't just where they are supposed to be.

So deleting comments after the author already replied is a thing now, apparently. Learned that today when I noticed replies floating alone like I was talking to ghosts.

They say we should “write for ourselves” and not care about engagement. Maybe that’s true. But just saying: there is, in fact, a human on the other side of those replies, typing with real fingers and feelings.

I find it very disquieting when the "the comment no longer exists" dialog pops up on YouTube. It's like having seen a ghost.
