The staircase that almost wasn’t. 😢 . . Our staircase and loft railing are a huge focal point in our farmhouse. It’s one of the things we spent a lot of time, effort and maybe a little stubbornness to get what we wanted. 🤗 . . We were told we couldn’t build it the way we designed it originally. If you know me, that didn’t go so well. 😬😬Where there’s a will, there’s a way is a philosophy of mine. . . We are so glad that my determination paid off and we worked out a solution that made everyone happy in the end. 💃 . . Then to disguise that ugly air exchange that appeared in the middle of stairway 😬😬😬. Oh well we did find a solution 🤗🤗. Thankfully we found an old window the perfect size. 😍 . . . I really appreciate being asked to share for #followmetojunk by Laurel @chippingwithcharm 😘. It’s the perfect excuse to pile up a few new treasures! Since my husband took the time to hang with me yesterday, the pile is a little smaller than usual after a full day of barn sales.😂😂. Love this little ironstone pitcher & spindle from @thefrenchfarmerswife amazing barn sale❤️. Then we headed over to @chartreusebarn and found this Vintage scale from my friend Jane @gritantiques -just loved everything in Jane’s space 😍😍. I just had to display on my Vintage icebox that I found last week @vintagecottage150 and the window that someone left for me beside the recycle bin on the same day 🤗🤗.
