According to Ninja and katsitting she took time off and hopefully will be back when she’s ready? I was recently reading her fic again and was thinking to myself what a gem it is in this fandom *sigh* I hope she’s ok and that this wasn’t the last we’ve heard and seen of her ❤️ Will greatly miss her though :/ pls come back soon :(

ah, i know exactly how you feel! nlts was my favourite fic ever - in any fandom, about any pairing. i’ve re-read it countless times since it was originally published over a year ago, and it never ceases to amaze me - it’s so well-written, and heartbreaking & heartwarming at the same time, and overall one of those few stories that are incredibly dear to me. however, it’s tulip herself i’m going to miss the most - i always immensely enjoyed talking to her, and her taste in literature and ships was the most impeccable. still, health and personal well-being comes first /always/, and she definitely should take all the time she needs - be it a week, a month, a year, maybe even more. no matter how long it takes, i’m pretty sure a lot of people (myself included!) will be delighted to have her back! i just hope she’s safe and healthy right now.

Are you friends with taloohlips? If yes, did something happened to her? Do you know if she will take long to recover/rest? Do you know if she decided to abandon her fic? I’m honestly worried, she’s one of the best Tomione authors I know and I love NLtS with all my heart! 😓

Yes, I am friends with talloohlips. 

I cannot say what happened to her since she didn’t volunteer that information, and I didn’t ask. She only mentioned that she is taking some time away. She said she’d be off from December and into the foreseeable future.

This is not the first time she’s taken some time away from this story. She tends to become overwhelmed with her real-life obligations, and it is best to give her space.

It is a good story (and my favorite as well), but her health and well-being are most important. Give her time. She will come back to the story when she is ready to.

Hey do you know what happened to talloohlips? Their tumblr is deleted and I’ve checked AO3 and their account is deleted to/is shown as “orphan account”? :( omg literally one of my overall fave tomione authors wth?! :/ (Sorry also if you see this q on several blogs but I’m so shocked actually...) 😭

oh dear, i just checked. you’re right! and my heart just sank a little bit.

i don’t know what happened, no! i’ve been off the grid since november and hence out of touch with fandom in general, and even though tulip and i exchanged messages every now and then, we haven’t talked for quite some time, so i have no idea what prompted her to do it.

she deactivated back in february 2018 and then remade in august, so… there’s hope, i think? but i don’t know more than you do :(

i really hope she does return eventually! i loved nlts more than any other fic, that’s true, but tulip herself is just such a sweet & smart & talented person. i’m gonna miss her presence in this fandom so much, goodness. plus, she helped me out when i was going through some personal stuff, and i’m still incredibly grateful.

It’s funny that you mention that, because I’m currently chatting with a friend about this. 

No, I don’t know where she has gone, but this isn’t the first time she’s gone MIA. :) She is probably just taking a break, like last time. I wouldn’t be too concerned. I know she will be back when she is ready. Let’s just let her rest and rejuvenate.
