Hey, @taloyo! Sorry to make you wait!! I got a little carried away and pushed posting until past the last minute. 

When I checked the sign-ups, for ‘favorite character’ you and I had both written ‘KAI’, so I wanted to make something for you– plus I just die of feels looking at your artwork <3  I saw your tag about wanting to team up on Ajin content, you draw, someone writes, so I tried to write some things based off your drawings! EDIT: I must’ve been braindead while posting this! The story behind is this even though in Taloyo’s original one they’ve met as adults, I wanted to see something where they’ve grown up together, like in the actual manga. Eventually I decided to give Kaneki his original haircut (though I could’ve made it black to be more obvious ｍ（＿　＿；；ｍ), thinking that by the time Hide turns into a butterfly, Kaneki’ll have turned into his whitehaired self. Btw my favourite fact about centipedes: some species (Kaneki’s being one of those) make some of the best parents in the insect world (´∀｀)♡
