Loppe (Hystrichopsylla sp.)
Denne ca. 4 mm. store loppe tilhører en af to arter i slægten Hystrichopsylla: talpae eller orentalis. Begge arter forekommer på en lang række værtsdyr, og de kan kun adskilles ved at nærstudere børster på baglår og hovedet.

This approx. 4 mm. fle belongs to one of two species in the genus Hystrichopsylla: talpae or orentalis . Both species occur on a large variety of host animals and they can only be distinguished by studying the setae on the hind tibia and those on the head.
