The Pale Tree awakened me during the Cycle of Night, and the most important of Ventari's teaching is: "Where life goes, so too, should you." While in my dream, I dreamed about the Shield of the Moon, and I'm called to find it. A necromancer's closest companion is death. In acknowledgement of this, I mark my face with the symbol of the trickster demon. This is my story.”

Like the way the moon kisses the edges of the sky, so too is the skin and soft icy glow of Talval. Blue, like a berry. Someone called him that, once. Blueberry.

If the Sylvari age cycle functioned anything like human aging, Talval would be roughly about 21. He has a slim body type and is slightly shorter than average height. His eyes are a dark rosy shade of red, glowing a bright pinkish rose at night. 

This boy has a LOT of story I have created for him, so stand by!

Talval’s Story | Next

From the beginning as a sapling, Talval was different. And even if others did not perceive that to be so, it felt that way to him. He did not view things in the same way as the others, did not like spending his time with them or participating in their revelries. He liked being alone. He liked his solitude. When he was alone, no one could bother him or more importantly, hurt him. But who needs friends when you could bring forth monsters and minions from the grave? Mutated creatures of the dead that would do your bidding and sacrifice themselves for you, just because. Those were the only friends he needed. And the knowledge to create more, that was.

The pair grew inseparable, always at the other's side. First as friends… and then eventually, lovers. Even with their somewhat of a Romeo and Juliet story when it came to their professional factions, the two always found ways to meet up and just be. The Order of Whispers and the Priory which each was a member of did not always see eye to eye and because of that their relationship had to be kept a secret.
