Hooray for being a hard working nurse. !!!
just got solo, literally.
So last night my nurse manager has decided to let me go solo in my duty due to the lack of staff in the unit. Recently, one of my seniors just resigned 2 days ago, and another 3 or 4 senior staff nurses are set to resign this month. The problem is, the unit has 7 probationary nurses and i am one of them. sooner the unit will be filled with novice nurses, hence the pressure will be passed to us.
I’m already on my first month in work as a probationary staff nurse and supposed to be i still have a buddy or a preceptor for 2 months before they let me go solo in work in accordance to the memo from the nursing care group. However my nurse manager has no choice but to let go of us since the work load is pretty heavy. sigh.
I am so freaking tired and stressed these past few days. My preceptor will resign next week. What’s gonna happen to us soon? hmmp
So Afraid!!!
afraid that one day i will not be able to meet the standards of each unit….I would still like to extend my exposure in my current unit before the NSO department take me and let me float to different areas…hmmm
NSO Floater!!!
So it’s final. I’m gonna be an NSO floater for a year...I really hope i can do what the hospital is expecting from me. I know GOD is always there to guide me. Feeling grateful. =)
