My buddy is so cool.
i wanna be great as her...she’s one of the coolest staff nurse i have ever met. =)
currently on my third week as a staff nurse!!!
and i feel like my best is still not enough. sigh...
New Unit Rotation!!!
Just started my duty yesterday at O***a unit and it was a roller coaster ride..To be honest, i kinda felt sad and shock for everything. The first day has been a challenge for me because no one oriented me nor even introduce themselves to me in the unit. I was like clueless on what to do first since the unit set-up is kinda confusing and messed up. sigh.
There are still a lot of things to be done and to improve in my new unit though. If ever i will be assigned in this unit permanently, i want to change a lot of things here especially their system. Regarding the work load, it’s kinda toxic but it could have been not as well. it really depends on how you manage your time. The practices and the kind of system that the staff nurses significantly affects their performance and time management. The unit space is also small. I can’t move freely and do some things in the unit with ease.
Sometimes, i am also wondering why my CNE assigned me in this unit? this is something that i really didn't expect. Is she punishing me or challenging me? either way, i would just convince my self to take a look of the brighter side. Maybe i need to be more flexible and work more on how i adapt to things that are very unfamiliar to me. Wish me luck!!! Perhaps, I’ll just give my best no matter what... May 16 is just one month away...I can’t wait for it already. =)
I'm already losing hope in this nursing career
thanks to jay-en for always encouraging me not to give up my profession and for teaching me on how to control my patience...-_-
Got 6 days left...
and imma meet my close friends again...=) another travel and experience for me. Geez, time runs so fast eh...=P
I miss...
working in the hospital, studying as a college student, travelling to other countries, playing with my close friends, drinking hard until i drop, dinner bonding with my parents and most of all being home at my hometown...=I
Barbi-Q crave...=)
i was walking along the street near pica pica going to gastambide when i saw a barb-Q stand where my friends and I used to eat before...hahahaha...their grilled chicken intestines and pork tocino are still the best....lol. While i was enjoying the food, i suddenly remembered my college and close friends. sigh....reminiscing those good old times that cannot be restored anymore...hmmmp
