just so you know if you take the time to add your own custom captions (directly in a video or with youtubes caption maker) you are objectively a good person and should be given a cookie. i have bad hearing so i watch EVERYTHING with subtitles. youtubes autogenerated captions kiiinda suck! cuz they get alotta words wrong! it might not look like it but adding captions does wonders and overall makes your videos more inclusive to others.

this is also why i (usually/try to) add captions to my TikTok videos.
