I visited the Henry B Plant Museum today. It reminded my a bit of the @craigdarrochcastle in Victoria BC, Canada. This is mainly due to the intricate woodwork, priceless antiques, and the smell of old times when things were much simpler and people wrote letters by hand. It was interesting to see how this museum’s history, which used to be a hotel, connected with the information I learned on my walking tour of #yborcity and how the railroad system helped several key figures in #tampahistory grow the area into what it is today.
