Okay but can I just say how much I love seeing tan idols? Like I was always raised to love my tan skin so whenever winter comes around and I get unnecessarily light I get all upset about it and that's how I feel whenever I see whitewashed pictures of idols because it's just like "no wait no no but their skin is so beautiful why try to change it??"
Tan peoplezzz, yo?
I love fashion magazines of all sorts. My favorite ones are American and Japanese mags. One thing they might have in these magazines are hair styles or make-up tutorials that I really like. One problem: They're all fair skinned. If not pale and Asian, usually Caucasian even if they are tan. I understand why they are the way that they are, and it's not that I'm calling it racist or anything, but it's difficult to find something that fits me because of my skin color. Don't take me wrong, I love being tan and I personally think I look nice. However, it's just hard to try on these things without it possibly looking really off or bad. All the tan magazines that I know of aren't that great. There is no way I'm going to pick of a Filipino magazine either. I'm one of the most non-Filipino Filipino girls out there. And to be honest, I don't like the styles I've seen. Long straight hair, bright red lipstick, whitening creams... meh. My mom commented that we were probably two of the very rare Filipinos who actually LIKE to be tan. Nothing wrong with that... if I could find something to work with it in magazines, haha. Anyway, my question: Does anyone know tutorials that match olive brown skin?
