What are your headcanons for the akatsuki's sleeping habits? What about how they get ready in the morning? Also, their opinions on their other teammates? (if this is too much, don't do it, but if you're up for it thennnn)
Itachi: He's a relatively sound sleeper, once he finally gets to sleep. He mostly lays on his side and rarely tosses and turns but will, without fail, wake up on the opposite side he fell asleep on. He's a bit on the groggy side when he wakes up but he's also a really early riser. He's one of the first up and always the first into the kitchen to attempt breakfast and get himself some tea. He's not particularly attached to anyone on the team but he's come to care for Kisame and he doesn't mind the company of Sasori, Kakuzu or Konan because of their similar temperaments.
Kisame: He cannot sleep if Samehada is not within arm's reach so it usually rests against his bed. He tends to fall asleep really easily and always kicks the covers off. He overheats really easily and can't fall asleep in more than boxers and maybe a tank top. He's a relatively light sleeper too and, though he complains a bit about being woken up, rarely gets groggy. He and Dei fight all the time but it's friendly and he also likes riling Hidan up; he finds it hilarious. He's one of the nicest to Tobi as well but even Kisame gets tired of him.
Deidara: SNORES FOR FUCKING EVER. Everyone hates it and Sasori has nearly suffocated him on many an occasion, covering his face with a pillow to try and muffle the sounds. He lies nearly spread eagle, just collapsing wherever and taking up as much space as possible. He's kinda high maintenance, in that he can't sleep with less than 3 pillows. He's a surprisingly early riser and his hair, unfortunately, doesn't require much effort to maintain so he's ready to go fairly quickly. He gets on with Kisame really well but also despises Itachi. He rarely shows how much he likes Sasori and Konan but he does.
Sasori: Essentially an insomniac. Like, 2 hours a night is normal. 5 hours is a good night. He gets cold easily and usually sleeps covered head to toe and with at least 2 thick blankets. But he barely moves and Deidara has had to check on more than on occasion that his partner hasn't died. He just rolls out of bed in the morning, usually one of the first up so he doesn't keep others waiting to start breakfast, and drinks copious amounts of coffee. He gets on best with Itachi but he also doesn't mind Zetsu and Konan. He can't and won't admit how much he actually cares for Deidara.
Hidan: He sleeps with his scythe next to him and you can't convince me otherwise. He sleeps in the nude and, more often than not, bloody from a recent ritual. He mumbles in his sleep but rarely anything coherent. He's also one of, if not the, heaviest sleeper in the entire base. Like Sasori, he just rolls out of bed and throws on whatever garments he finds lying around, usually just his boxers and cloak and bitches the entire time. Hidan would never admit to liking any of his teammates but he finds Konan attractive--not just because she's gorgeous but because she's quietly powerful--and doesn't mind Kakuzu and Deidara as much as he says.
Kakuzu: He sleeps with his briefcases under his mattress or under his pillow so he'll know if someone tries to take it. He's a relatively light sleeper and generally just lies on his back with his arms across his chest. He's an early riser but he normally goes straight to work, skipping breakfast until someone forces him to eat. He doesn't take much time getting ready either because his appearance hasn't been his priority in a long, long time. He doesn't mind Itachi, Sasori and Zetsu but he can't say he likes anyone in the group. Hidan pisses him off but Kakuzu understands him the best.
Tobi: He falls asleep the easiest but he tosses and turns the entire night. Every morning, he wakes up in a weird position, like with just his legs on the bed and a pillow under his feet and on his face with the blankets in a pool on his left side, half covering his torso. But he's an early riser and very chipper in the mornings. He doesn't take too long getting ready, he wants to be out helping the others and getting the day started. He's fond of Zetsu and Konan, who don't really push him away, or at least, not as harshly as Deidara and Hidan do.
Zetsu: Another insomniac. He doesn't mind it, just drinking tea and reading or tending to his plants are as relaxing as sleeping for him. When he does get to sleep, it's sitting in a chair. He can't sleep laying down without tossing and turning. He'll sleep with his head lolled towards one arm or the other with a blanket haphazardly draped over his lap. His white side is a little more amiable in the morning but on the whole, he's rather groggy and likes to take his time getting ready, if only to fully wake without everyone watching. He appreciates Sasori and Konan's company but doesn't think himself particularly close to any of the members.
Pein: The lightest sleeper in the entire group. He almost literally sleeps with one eye open and barely, if ever, gets a good nights sleep. Around Konan, though, he sleeps easier, longer and more heavily. He's been known to mumble in his sleep occasionally but no one can understand him. He's a surprisingly late riser and rarely speaks until he's had his first cup of coffee or tea. He doesn't put much effort into getting ready but he almost always washes his face and brushes his teeth right away. He argues that it helps wake him up easier. He's closest to Konan, for obvious reasons, but he appreciates Zetsu, Itachi and Tobi for their skill and company.
Konan: She sleeps with kunai under her pillow, and one hand clutching one. It never hurts to be prepared. She sleeps on her side and rarely moves, sort of like Itachi. But she sleeps with her hair loose--the bun is uncomfortable to sleep in. She's one of the early risers but she takes her time getting ready; it's one of the few times she can move at her own pace because no one's depending on her so she takes advantage of it. Again, she's closest to Pein but she enjoys Sasori's company and doesn't mind Kakuzu either. She finds Hidan the most annoying and enjoys putting him in his place.
