Oooh, 14. Historical AU and 19. fake relationship (I haven't read much of this trope, but what I have I've been a bit lukewarm on, so I'd love to read one you rec :D )
14. Historical AU
A Study in Rose by mimicre
Ooh, sooooo this is a Homestuck comic, feat. Jade and Rose in a Sherlock Holmesian AU in period London. The story is mostly situational setup, but the art is so very lovely, and I think would appeal to you?
19. fake relationship
Ok, you’ve probably read this one, because it’s a Remus/Sirius fic from back in the day, but it’s one of my favourite examples of the fake dating trope that I love for the way it uses the trope, in its hilarious-pining-ridiculousness, rather than being a story that happens to include fake dating but is cool for other reasons.
shuffle: pair by sodomquake
Basically it’s a long one-shot in which Remus accidentally starts a fake dating joke, and Sirius will not put it the fuck down. And Remus is kind of pining and frustrated and annoyed, but also kind of delighted by the attention and enjoying the charade, so he’s trying to play along and shut it down at the same time, which doesn’t work even a little bit. This trope works best when the characters are getting tangled up in the line between faking it and meaning it, and even more tangled on which bits the other person means, and this one does that really nicely.
