Have more Aussies that needed posing than I thought.
Still have a couple that I haven't named yet so they didn't get posed.
Next up, adopted petz from Harry!

Naturally Raising Millie - Day 2
First off, Millie's Foundation Baby Citizen trial was judged. Millie did really well! So well, her trial got placed in the example handbook! Super cool!
First we tried to find some of Millie's favorite. At first she stopped drinking the milk immediately, so I thought she didn't like it.
She definitely didn't like the cheese.
Played with the cocoa mug and the beef treat, but liked the red bowl.
Then we tried to do tasks for PSC's Petz Citizen Scheme and Spellbound's Aptitude Show.
First was walking. Next was walking through distractions.
A little more difficult. But finally, I think we got it!
Then it was grooming, which Millie is a very good girl about.
Then just standing waiting to be examined.
Cool! We did it, here's the PSC PCS tasks:
For the Aptitude show, Millie has to sit.
Then hunt!
Not quite, Millie!
Then we turned react-to-camera back on and got a fancy pose show pic!
Next we needed to get an "M" shape with her walking.
Then there was some play time.
After play/nap time, Millie was up to some running, which is the next task.
We got some nice bounds and leaps, but then we got a great racing looking one.
Here's the Novice Aptitude show entry!
We did a little more attempting to find out what she liked, but mostly she just played with/ate from the last thing I put down every time.
So I "cheated" and used a 3rd party utility to find out what she likes. Red and Yellow, Chicken and Milk.
And that's the end of Day 2!
@thorplayspetz
Haven't been by in a while and they've gone and changed the locations of the buttons along the bottom.
Anyway, I took a few days off of petz showing. I was getting overwhelmed by da-doinks from Discord and wanted to sort of disconnect for a bit.
Now that I feel more centered, I'm taking pose pictures. There's been a helluva lot of talk about alignment and what is "technically correct" for each breed. I still judge by even back feet. So yeah. I guess I'm wrong. Don't care. I like the concrete way of being able to put the picture in Photoshop and judging with a guideline. Wrist alignment doesn't click with me. Oh well.
I've been posing some Aussies today. And I've noticed that even feet & even eyes/heart nose is not the highest breathing point. I mean, I knew that with Dalis. There's is like one frame apart. And maybe I'm not getting the "highest breathing point" with the Aussies either I think they look nice. Here's an example.
Very tiny differences.
After I pose my Aussies for PSC. I'm going to make a new post showing off my new "must show at UKC" petz from Harry. Then I gotta work on shownames before I can register pets at PSC & UKC. Other things I "need" to do, is open shows up again at PSC and maybe UKC and enter shows in those places. I want a Goldie pup from Tea before she closes the thread!
(not to mention household chores - dishes, etc)
selective breeds I want to tackle
Ruffcoat Dalis
Ice Cream Floats
Meezer-Pointed Calicos
Vandermeezers
selective breeds I want to breed more of:
Persals
Himalayans
Tabby Persians
Snowshoe Scotties
Scotch & Sodas
Harlequins
Locations A-H Line, Line One, Line Two, and Line Three.
Not the prettiest, but it's a step towards my goals.
Color Me Confused
So the only one of this batch by gen 3 that still has markings is this guy:
This is what his GenePoolz profile looks like:
No alley markings! What?
I got a Xoops hexie! EEEEE!!!!!
In the Petz Life server, everyone was super hyped about Megan at Xoops dropping a group of Hexies on the Petz Bazaar. I was worried that since she tagged 25 people and only showed 25 petz, that they were mean for specific people. But no, first come first grab.
I think I might have refreshed 30 times in the last minute leading up to 1 am for me. Staccato here was 90 coinz, almost all I had, but so so worth it! All the petz Megan put up were adopted within a minute of the shop going live.
I'm still in shock that 1) I was able to afford her and 2) I got my first choice!
Now, to try to purge the adrenaline from my system so I can go to bed. I can play with my new petz tomorrow!
