Tanith Lavellan has been sentenced to death for killing a chevalier during the purging of her alienage, but a last-minute intervention by a Grey Warden recruiter saves her life. At the order’s outpost in Val Chevin, she discovers that the Wardens have many secrets; the fate of the Hero of Ferelden foremost amongst them.

Inquisitor Tanith Lavellan

Tanith Lavellan - scourge of all rams in the Hinterlands. (She’s a hunter. To her, every ram means another three days her clan doesn’t have to worry about food. I imagine the Inquisition’s cooks are quite fond of her by this point, because she helps them keep the ever-growing army fed.)

Also, Vivienne just became her favorite, by killing the Marquis for her. And for the line “The chance to meet my enemy face to face.” Tanith may not be in Vivienne’s social circle, but she admires a powerful woman who isn’t afraid to face an enemy.

I wanted to write interaction between these two for ages so here

Saskia is my Inquizzy though here she was sent to help Tan and Tanith Lavellan belongs to filthyknifeear!

Saskia took her leave of the tavern after much protesting from Bull,and after gently freeing her arm from a drunk and affectionate Sera. After handing over a few silvers in compensation Bull let if drop even if Sera continued to sulk. Sas had noticed Tan was missing from the celebration and something felt wrong.

She carefully navigated her way through Haven,careful not to knock into any of the bustling soldiers and traders. She hadn’t known Tanith long as she had only been with the Lavellan clan a short time. But even she knew her being absent from the party after foiling an ambush in the hinterlands was out of character.

After checking the stables and asking around the warrior headed to the smaller elf’s room,stopping short of the door when she heard faint crying inside. Suddenly Saskia cursed the lack of a blade at her side, She’s let her guard down. How could she protect her kin without it? Inside the wall’s or no she needed to be vigilante.

‘lethallin,are you well?’ Anxious as she was Sas didn't go to open the door,waiting patiently for a reply. Faint shuffling before the opened,a teary eyed Tanith looking up at her. The smaller elf says nothing,just shaking her head solemnly. 

Taking a her none branded hand,asking softly ‘Can I come in?’ again no words,the door shutting silently behind them. They sat on the edge of the bed In silence for a time,until Tanith felt like she wanted to speak. When she did her words where few and barely audible. ‘They say I’ll save the world...I’m scared.’

Saying it out loud seemed to overwhelm her,the tears coming again. Saskia immediately pulled her close,head against her chest. Warrior arms enveloped her,keeping Tanith steady as her body was wracked with sobs. They stayed like this for a minute or two,allowing her time to cry before speaking.

‘You will save the world,but you will not be alone Da’len. I believe in you and I’ll be here with you. Take a breath.’ Tanith nodded slowly,taking deep breaths in time with the steady beat of Saskia’s heart.

The panic subsided slowly,before to long Tan was wiping her eyes with a smile. Hopping to her feet checking her face in the mirror before she turned back to Sas. ‘Did I miss cards?’ She couldn't help but smile back. ‘we barely started,didn't feel right without you.’
