Slight tank update

UGH! Why are the shrimp that I don't want to breed (ghost shrimp) popping babies and the shrimp that i want to breed (cherry shrimp) are not?! why does my ph keep dropping? and how on earth did i end up with red crystal shrimp when i asked for more cherry shrimp? 

life is weird and i have no clue how to take care of red crystal shrimp other then they need a higher temp then my cherries and ghosts.
