I had TANK 7 American Saison Ale from Boulevard Brewing Co in Kansas City, Missouri Hilltop Park Ale House n Washington Heights the other day. Tank 7 is a variation on a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, and named after fermenter number seven where it originated. Tank 7 is a light to medium body ale that provides fruity aromatics with citrus and grapefruit-hoppy notes. It’s soft and light but not too sweet or bitter. This Saison is straw in color and finishes with a peppery, dry and palate satisfying intensity.
