💖 • What’s a trope you love and will never get tired of?
HAMMY'S POSTING. Not sure if it's a trope, but 'guy that keeps getting into situations' is how I'd summarize a good amount of my threads lmao. Pizzelle is constantly getting dragged into scenarios that are completely out of his control and he's just there for the ride (not voluntarily tho'); seeing how he manages is part of the fun. I guess it goes hand-in-hand with tropes like 'Action Survivor' and 'Right Man at the Wrong Place' tho', particularly if we're talking about Spire events. That's basically this guy's Silent Hill right there. Also honorable mention to 'Unwitting Instigator of Doom' because that's Pizzelle's involvement in the game's events in a nutshell. I don't think the circumstances he's in properly dawn on him until he destroyed Mt. Fudgetop, and things don't get that much better afterwards. They actually get worse.
🧠 • Do you believe muses “have a mind of their own”?
HAMMY'S POSTING. While I'm a bit old-fashioned and I find saying that "my muses wake up/is being loud" rather corny, I prefer detaching myself from my muse to the point they might as well be their own person. Y'know how we all say 'mun =/= muse' in our rules, that's basically what I imagine when the idea is brought up: we're not responsible for what our muses do, eeeven if we're the ones writing them. At that point their autonomy is implied. Personally tho', I keep the fourth-wall breaks to a minimum. Again, I prefer distance between me and my muses; so while I think it'd be funny it's mostly Pizzano who has that ability/privilege.
😤 • Do you have any pet peeves when it comes to RP partners or threads?
HAMMY'S POSTING. EVERYONE has pet peeves; and, if someone says they don't, chances are they just keep it to themselves instead. As for MY pet peeves?? I have a few, but especially people that follow me first, I follow them back, and then they never interact with me in any capacity. I know I'm bad at breaking the ice myself, but if I follow someone first I WILL go out of my way to get it done because when I do it's because I'd love to write with you!! RPing as a hobby is all about approaching and communicating with people!! Hell, I wouldn't mind it if we interacted OOC in any capacity at least. I always try to interact with folks by liking and commending on their OOC posts because I can see them, and they deserve to know I'm looking at their stuff! Still, I'm not perfect for this either; a lot of the time it's very long posts and unless I read them fully I don't like the post and it comes to bite me later. Much of my time in the Dash is spent being a bystander, like a witness, but at least I hope my Mutuals feel noticed and appreciated that way.
🫶 • What makes you feel most appreciated as an RP partner?
HAMMY'S POSTING. I think it's nice when people read my lore posts, even if they see/treat Pizzelle and Rosette as my OCs because they don't know the source material. I've been doing my thing for basically three years now, and I have a lot to write about still, so when people show interest in what I'm cooking I feel like going public and making this blog was worth it. 💙 When people can tell how much I care (especially because we, in general, are our worst critics), sometimes to the point that they'll let me know, man, it means a lot to me. Hell, I'd say that being acknowledged in general makes me very happy. My drabbles and lore posts getting likes, people seeing my OOC posts, and if I ever get any asks without prompting them somehow I kinda just explode. For me it's the little things.
