I treated #fathersday2018 morning like Labor Day and didn’t do any #fathering for about 8 hours. Yes, I’m spoiled, thank you Hon! @kiernanerica 😘 Instead, I drove around searching for #floridatroutstreams, both brackish & fresh. Although, the #suburbanplungepool where I caught the #mangrovesnapper was almost certainly 99.9% fresh, he didn’t seem to care and put up a good tussle on 4x tippet, ha! The little creek/ditch where I caught the bass comes out of pine flatwoods and had the most amazing #tanninstainedwater and sandy bottom, interspersed with grasses, lilies and overhanging palms.
