Tanoontchi is based off the Japanese raccoon dog, with a plump, pink body, three small hairs atop its head and a big, purple tail. It has large arms with three claws on each, as well as stubby feet that are very close to its body. It also has stubby, purple ears and a matching purple eyemask over its beady eyes. It has a tiny dot nose and an upside-down v-shaped mouth.

Bandai Releases Episode 100 of Tama Animation Series “TANOONTCHI vs. KONKOTCHI, the battle of Harvests!

Tanoontchi is picking his harvest and placing it into his basket when he sees Konkotchi flip over his bucket, and then they begin competing. They both build big piles of leaves, mushrooms, and other foliage. So they begin stuffing their faces and eating their harvest to see who can eat the most, and end up with big bellies. They shouldn’t compete so much!
