Guess who turned 18 a couple of days ago! My birthday was the 2nd. I know I haven't been super active, sorry. I plan on changing that at some point- but for now things will be a but slow on here because life junk! Here's an exciting update:

I got accepted into DePaul uni in Chicago, with an (almost) half tuition scholarship!! I'm so excited! I've only ever lived in Florida, so I'm hoping the weather doesn't kick my ass bc it's cold as CRAP over there!! But Chicago sounds like a perfect fit for me culture wise, tbh.

I'm currently sniffing around for more scholarships (I still have to pay 20k a year, which I can't do on my own) So right now I've just been fiddling around with finishing my classes & going through the whole college process.

Stupid corona means I'll likely be delayed going down there though, as classes prob won't be open... :/

So HERE COMES THEORY TIME

In the new episodes we saw The BoizTM harness their mystic energy from within. They mostly have their same powers but with slight alterations.

Raph is less of defensive and more a strategic move. He can make sort of holograms of himself, fake ones. Because I read too deeply into things, I actually love how this shows his character. He is no longer simply a tank, just smashing things and going head first, but rather he has to plan out his attacks, make a move and decide where he wants to place these projections. Maybe he still has his force field though, which I do hope for!

Leo can still teleport. That’s a given. But I noticed something interesting about the move he pulled. HE teleported but the sword DID NOT. It’s possible that he can teleport without his sword. He doesn’t need his weapon he can just pop- over there- pop- over here. Which also suits his character really well. Both his cunningness and obnoxiousness can be increased by his ability to move around so fast.

Donnie- well- DONNIE HAS A MYSTIC POWER! I made a post a while back actually asking what would happen if Donnie had a mystic ability. And now I’m like AAAAAAH I SAW IT COMING EVEN THOUGH I DIDNT! His is a little hard to explain, but I have a feeling it might be similar to alchemy. Again I LIVE for visual character personality, so I might be jumping the gun a little. But let me explain. Alchemy is described as “a seemingly magical process of transformation, creation, or combination” and what we DID see of Donnie’s power was two things. One was him CREATING a hammer at the end of his bō, and the other was him COMBINING his staff with the drill. See what I’m getting at? Albeit, I LOVED the tech bō and I really hope he gets it back, I don’t mind the wooden one either. Because of this power, it makes him just as versatile and interesting in battle.

Mikey we uhhhhhh didn’t really see. Basically he has his nunchucks but they have a seemingly infinite range like his kusari fundo. So he’s basically got two kusari‘s now. I don’t know if his power is the same or not (I hope it is the same- I want more of the forbidden fire dog) but nonetheless he’s still a firey and sporadic force to be reckoned with!

This shot makes me so sad like he looks so scared and small. The way he just curls up and covers his head in terror. The one thing he trusts more than anything has betrayed him and just AAAAAH SOMEONE HELP HIM! THANK GOD APRIL DOES BUT OML THIS SHOT.
