Thank you! :D I love all these little interactions between them ( I hate to use the word little for these two but i lack a better word). These tyoe of scenes don't have the intensity of longer scenes but they are just as meaningful to me :D

Sweet. Yes, we all were self absorbed teenagers once but when we get older, we learn to appreciate our parents. At least some of us do and that is great. There is nothing like giving them back some of the love and attention that they have showered us
Yeah, it was funny. He's like oh you can afford it? LOL. Like we were going to have a 5 course lunch. LOL. I may BBQ with him this weekend. Thanks for responding to my post. :)

I lost my dad 4 years ago and I still miss him everyday. You are lucky that you get to spend time with him but you are also smart that you do it because one day, all that would be left is memories, the more we make them, the better.
I'm sorry to hear that your dad has passed away. *hugs*
Its odd. It wasn't until I got older that I really began to appreciate him and our conversations. The way that he raised my sister and I has definitely shaped how I approach relationships, and how I conducted myself. I thank him for that A LOT. Only thing we didn't get was a quick selfie, but I may do that this weekend. My mom is out of town this weekend, so I'll probably go by to hang out with him.

I would love to shout it from the rooftops. However, my publisher has asked me to keep it on the down-low for now as it's part of a group of young, mold-able authors (their words, not mine). I can say I was picked up off of the slush pile, which is still mind-blowing to this day.
I can also say that I have a pseudonym. I follow her on Twitter, she follows me back, and as soon as I get off my rear end and work on the website, I'll be like HAI GUYS THERE'S THIS AUTHOR THAT SEEMS REALLY COOL WINK WINK NUDGE NUDGE.

But they were together in real life and let’s be honest, the minute Damon showed interest in Elena (which was the very beginning), we all knew they will end up together.
Actually, there is version of Nina and Paul too, but as I'm not a Stelena shipper (ewewew), I don't even bother to mention it. Plus, TVD was always a love triangle, so obviously, at some point, Delena would get together. This is not even up to discussion as the show was promoted as a love triangle since before it aired lol The point I was trying to make was that we could get an olicity photoshoot, even before Olicity got together as it happened with Ian/Nina/delena
