Season 14 of The Amazing Race was for the girls and the gays
I love that almost half of the season 18 cast was from season 14 but aside from Jen and Kisha they were literally all eliminated first
Watching Jen drink all of that water during the roadblock knowing her having to pee is going to get them eliminated
Tammy and Victor at the pit stop when Margie and Luke and Jen and Kisha were fighting
The season 14 cast
TAR14 was...interesting. Other than a few memorable moments here and there, the season overall isn’t stellar imo but it’s still solidly good to watch. I think the thing that bothered me the most (but wasn’t that huge of a deal anyways) was the change in editing, just cause I was already so used to the older version (which I know is dumb since I’ve seen everything from TAR24 to TAR31 so I know it continues to change but still!). I didn’t like the lack of airport scenes...who’s idea was is to cut most of it out? :( The map they used to show where they were going was ugly and cheap too but anyways. Tammy & Victor I enjoy as winners because just like Nick & Starr, I could relate to them. I understood how Tammy felt like Victor wasn’t listening to her and I understood how Victor felt like he needed to be in control as a leader. They were a pretty strong team and watching them win was pretty satisfying. I found out people think the season was rigged for them because of the advantage they had in China, but...that’s just dumb imo, they earned their win. Jaime & Cara were both gorgeous and fun to watch, although they were pretty whiny in China. Margie & Luke I watched the first time on TAR24, and I found them to be sort of annoying due to how much Margie babies him, however watching their debut made me like them a bit. They were pretty strong too and overcame a lot as underdogs, which I love. However I felt conflicted in the infamous pushing with Kisha & Jen because Luke really did push Jen twice and they tried to act like they were innocent. Kisha & Jen didn’t seem like the aggressive type at all so idk why they would think Jen would do that. Then for Margie to bring up their race at the mat I- it was cringey just a bit. Kisha & Jen losing the race because Jen had to pee was iconic, I love them and can’t wait to see them on TAR18. Mark & Michael gaining like 29532 penalties for the dumbest things was hilarious, the underwear roadblock, cheese task, Amanda & Kris being U-Turned, Kisha & Jen at the restaurant detour, and Luke fumbling the final roadblock to allow both Victor AND Jaime to pass him were all great moments of the season.
