*turns up outside Jan's office, leaning against the door and eating an apple he picked up from the market* Hey. This a bad time?

[the voice causes a quick jerk of the head to his own door, finding Lovino standing in it, quite the unexpected surprise.] 

Not for you.

*Braiding her hair* Da. Back when I was fighting with my brother and I wanted to stick it to him after our separation. There was no more terrible betrayal that I could come up with than seeing and moving in with "the enemy".

 He had said he would come to visit. He just hadn't known when. He looked back over his shoulder at his brother, carrying his groceries. Not entirely sure if he should go over and start up a conversation, since there was a very good chance Romano was in this general vicinity on business, not wanting to run into the younger Italian.

Their eyes met for a second and he smiled then looked down, awkwardly shy. This happened often after a fight. Especially a bad one. He just didn't know what to say, how to start. Looking down into the bottom of his bag he remembered he'd bought quite a few confectioneries. Would it be okay to...

si, it probably would.

Jogging across the street and over he reached into his bag and presented his older brother with a chocolate coated biscotti, convinced he wasn't trying to suck up to him. This wasn't a peace offering, but, he wanted him to have it.

"I bought a...a lot," he said. "You hardly see me outside of work so I don't know if you are eating or what kinds of things you are doing. So take it or drop it on the ground. Either way, I just wanted to say hi." He sighed, hefting his heavy paper grocery bag in his arms. "Hope you are taking care of yourself." Since Lovino hadn't responded he'd begun to feel awkward again and started to walk again. "Ciao," he mumbled, hugging the bag tighter as he turned his back on him.

Sure. *grumbles at that grin*

*he feels his smile stretch higher as Jan opens the door - it really is good to see him again* Mm- you too. *looks around and not sure what he’d expecting, for his friend’s house to somehow have changed in the couple of weeks he’d been gone?*

*puts the plastic bag down on the ground, propped against the wall without thinking and turns to him as just as he’s asking about drinks. There’s an amused twinkle in his eyes as they soften and he steps closer, looping his arms around Jan’s neck.* That would be nice.

*Tch. Germanics and their greetings.*

*leans in and drops a soft, brief almost playful kiss on his lips. hushed* I thought you said you missed me. That you were thinking of me while I was away- *teasing grin and nudges his forehead against the Dutchman’s with a faint whine* Where’s my ‘Bentornato’? The real one.

*A small smile, perhaps out of embarrassment, perhaps because he should have moved in first curls about his lips as Lovino pulls him in*

*lowering his eyes as he feels the soft kiss and cannot deny the Italian's allegations* A real one, hm? *the warmth of the younger man is very much a welcomed thing, it seems the Dutchman's life had been so cold lately and hands wrap around Lovino's waist. Pulling away to look into earnest green eyes, it only takes him a moment before a more ardent kiss finds Italian lips. Jan does not beg for permission, not when its familiarity returned, as these were the last lips he tasted.  A soft hum is heard as his grip tightens as he starts to gently push Lovino backwards toward the couch. As the younger man bumps it, Jan guides them down to it, lips breaking for but a moment as Dutch hands come to caress the face in front of him. A series of small caresses found their way onto the  brunet's cheeks and just above his collar, his voice a low whisper*
