“Necklaces" in the Japanese style by Alexis Falize and Antoine Tard in gold and enamel (circa 1867) presented in “A History of Jewellery: Bedazzled (part 6: Art Nouveau 1890-1914)” by Beatriz Chadour-Sampson - International Jewellery Historian and Author - for the V&A Academy online, march 2024.
Okay. Looking through the Witcher wiki, two things started to make sense:
1. When Geralt and Yennifer were fighting the guys trying to get at the Dragon Egg, Yennifer yelled “Aard!” then kissed him. I didn’t get what the fuck that meant.
2.The sign thing Geralt does with his three fingers is an Aard, a sign that causes a shock wave.
So, now what Yennifer yelled to him, and the thing he does with his hand makes a fuck load more sense, and I feel like a tard now describing it the way I did in A Witcher’s Destiny. I should really either start playing the game or read the books.
On meurt toujours trop tôt - ou trop tard. Et cependant la vie est là, terminée; le trait est tiré, il faut faire la somme. Tu n'es rien d'autre que ta vie.
