Eridan Ampora
How I feel about this character
Funny, I actually ranted to my brother about my love for Eridan just this afternoon. Eridan is just so fantastic and beautiful. He's an asshole, but he's an adorable asshole. Anyways, Eridan is of course one of the most poorly represented characters in the fandom. Or at least, he used to be. I think that the beautiful awareness that fandumb blogs have spread about him has greatly improved his treatment.
Like I said, he's great. Of the trolls, he's up there as one of the most tragic. In the amount of time we were given to learn about him, we saw a 13 year old kid not ready to accept the heavy responsibilities put on his shoulders and watch him fail. Fail miserably, at that. He lost the one person he thought could understand him, was thrown onto a lonely planet with terrifying consorts, and quickly gave up hope. He went on probably my favorite rampage amongst the trolls, and was CHAINSAWED IN HALF. I mean damn. What hardcore way to go.
All of the people I ship romantically with this character
First and foremost, Feferi. They had so much potential to be an adorable couple, but it ended for 100000% justifiable reasons. Erikar is fantastic. Erisol but only in the blackest way possible. (ALSO ROXY BUT SHHHHH)

My unpopular opinion for this character
Not sure how unpopular this is, but sorry guys, he doesn't pronounce his double "w's" and double "v's." Neither does Cronus.
Something I wish would happen/had happened to this character in canon
I wish we could've seen what Feferi and Eridan were like together much sooner before the game than we had. I think it would better solidify the reasons that Feferi chose to break off with him.
I think I might die of asphyxiation over here oh my god
