YOUR ENERGY THIS WEEK AS A PLANT🌿
Pick a collage intuitively. TRUST YOUR FIRST INSTINCT. Which one draws you in?
🌱 Pile One: The Money Tree That Had to Learn the Hard Way
Page of Pentacles reversed, The Emperor reversed, Ace of Pentacles, and 9 of Cups reversed
If you were a plant this week, honey, you would be a Money Tree (Pachira aquatica) and not the perfectly pruned, glossy one people show off when everything is going right. You’d be the one that’s been a little neglected in the ways that actually matter. Maybe overwatered, not getting enough structure, and/or maybe leaning off to one side because nobody’s been rotating it properly. Still alive, still capable of thriving, but clearly reflecting that something in the care routine hasn’t been consistent.
That’s exactly what your energy is mirroring right now.
There is nothing wrong with your ability to grow, attract, or build something stable. In fact, the potential is sitting right here, clear as day. The issue is that your habits, discipline, or your structure haven’t been matching what you say you want. You can’t want long-term stability while moving in short-term comfort. At some point, those two things start working against each other.
There’s a very real disconnect here between desire and action. Part of you craves security, abundance, and something solid you can stand on. But another part of you has been indulging, procrastinating, or avoiding the kind of consistency that actually builds that life. Because of that, things may feel slower than they should, or less satisfying than you expected them to be.
This is where that Money Tree symbolism really hits. That plant thrives when it’s cared for properly. Like when the watering is balanced, the environment is steady, and the structure supports its growth. But the moment you overdo it or neglect it in the wrong ways, it starts to show. Not because it’s weak, but because it responds directly to how it’s being handled.
Energetically, this ties strongly into a tension between Rohini and Uttara Ashada. Rohini wants beauty, comfort, pleasure, and visible growth. It’s lush, fertile, and drawn to what feels good. But Uttara Ashada doesn’t care about what feels good in the moment...it cares about what lasts. It demands discipline, integrity, and long-term effort. Right now, you’re being asked to reconcile those two energies instead of letting them pull you in opposite directions.
You don’t get to embody abundance while avoiding responsibility for the foundation that holds it.
This week is not about blooming overnight. It’s about replanting yourself correctly. Fixing the soil and getting honest about what isn’t working. Choosing actions that actually support the life you keep saying you want. The opportunity is there...but this time, it’s going to require you to meet it halfway.
🪴 Pile Two: The Ivy You Cut Back, But Didn’t Fully Remove
The Devil reversed, 2 of Pentacles reversed, 5 of Wands, The Lovers reversed
If you were a plant this week, you would be English Ivy (Hedera helix) which is something beautiful at first glance. It's something that grows quickly and wraps itself around whatever is nearby, but something that can very easily become overwhelming, invasive, and hard to completely get rid of.
This is the kind of plant that doesn’t just grow, baby it attaches. It clings and spreads. Once it’s rooted into something, it doesn’t let go easily.
That’s your energy right now.
There has been a detachment process happening. You’ve either pulled yourself away from something unhealthy, or you’re in the middle of trying to. And to be fair, that’s not nothing—you’ve recognized the problem. You’ve seen the toxicity for what it is. But recognizing something and fully releasing it are two very different things.
Because what this energy is showing me is that even if there’s distance physically or logically, energetically? Emotionally? Mentally? There’s still a thread there. You’re still checking in, still thinking about it, still feeling pulled back in some way. And that’s exactly how this kind of “ivy” energy works....it doesn’t need full access to keep its hold on you.
There’s also a lot of noise around you right now. Like conflicting opinions, internal back-and-forth, and/or maybe even external drama or tension. It’s not a calm, centered energy. It’s scattered, overwhelmed, and a little all over the place if we’re being honest. And in the middle of all that, there’s a misalignment. Either in a relationship or in a decision you’re trying to make that you already feel isn’t right.
But instead of making a clean cut, there’s hesitation. That hesitation is what keeps this cycle alive.
This is where the Nakshatra energy comes in strong with Ardra and Vishakha. Ardra brings the storm. So, this is the emotional release, the tearing down of illusions, and the necessary ruckus that forces you to confront truth whether you’re ready or not. Vishakha, on the other hand, is intense, focused, and fixated. It can struggle to let go, even when it knows something isn’t good for it anymore.
So you end up in this push-pull dynamic where part of you is trying to break free, and another part of you is still holding on.
Here’s the thing about ivy, though....it doesn’t respond to gentle boundaries. You can trim it, cut it back, and manage it a little… and it will grow right back if the root is still there. It requires decisive action if you actually want it gone.
So this week becomes a moment of choice.
You can continue managing the attachment, keeping it somewhat controlled but still present in your life. Or you can remove it completely, knowing that it might be uncomfortable, but it will finally give you space to grow without interference.
Because the truth is, you cannot heal in the same place (or with the same connection) that contributed to the damage in the first place.
🌸 Pile Three: The Flower That Blooms When It’s Ready, Not When It’s Pressured
The Star, 4 of Swords, Justice reversed, The Moon reversed, The Chariot
If you were a plant this week, you would be the Queen of the Night (Epiphyllum oxypetalum). It's a night-blooming flower that doesn’t operate on anyone else’s timeline. It doesn’t bloom for attention, it doesn’t rush to prove anything, and it certainly doesn’t open up just because someone is watching.
It blooms when it’s ready. And when it does, it’s undeniable.
That’s the energy you’re sitting in right now, and it’s a very different pace compared to the other piles. There has already been a healing process taking place beneath the surface. Not loud or performative, and not something you necessarily needed validation for...but real. The kind of healing that requires rest, reflection, and honesty with yourself.
You’ve taken time to step back, to process, to regain clarity. Because of that, something that felt confusing before or overwhelming is starting to make sense. Illusions are lifting and you’re seeing situations, people, or even your own patterns more clearly now. Instead of reacting emotionally or impulsively, you’re responding with intention.
Now, I’m not going to pretend everything around you has been perfectly fair. There are signs here that something may not have gone the way it should have, or that there’s been a lack of balance or accountability somewhere in your environment. But what’s different about you is that you’re not letting that throw you off course. You’re recalibrating instead.
This is where your Nakshatra energy blends beautifully! Hasta, Shravana, and Ashwini. Hasta brings skill and intentional action, the ability to handle things with care and precision. Shravana is about listening and observing, learning through awareness rather than reaction. And Ashwini brings that sudden, powerful forward movement. Like the kind that happens quickly, but only after the internal alignment is already there.
So while it may look like you’re being still right now, there is nothing stagnant about this energy. You are preparing. You are aligning. And once you decide to move, it’s going to happen quickly and with confidence.
That’s the bloom and it's not forced, rushed, or performative. Honey, it's timed. The truth is, not everyone gets to see that version of you.
