👉🏻 behind the scenes of the Sun tarot! currently my fav illustration from this series…

this Arcane symbolizes positivity and represents a time of clarity and personal growth! I don’t know about you, but I honestly need positivity in my life these days!

I decided to represent the Sun & Moon tarots as a sort of “Ancestral” deities…so this figure is a personification of a sun-god, portrayed as a sixteenth-century king (for the “outfit” I took inspiration from the Tudor style and particularly on the figure of Henry VIII)

I really hope this tarot card may bring you good vibes, light and calmness…we all need it in these dark times 🌝✨✨✨

Did a self tarot card! Frame is a collab effort between a bunch of dragons, final frame template by @astazarath

So, there's a bit of shapeshifter shenanigan that I didn't post on tumblr.

The gist of it is that, wings being many, limbs being optional, and tail length got a lot of wiggle room all feel right, as evident by this piece right here. It wasn't even conscious, I just, drew, and find that legs didn't feel right at that moment, and having another smaller set of wings also just feel good.

The Sun Tarot

Part of a school project where we redrew tarot cards:)

The Sun is a beautiful messenger of joy, happiness, and above all, authenticity. It represents the divine source of energy that we all come from and remain connected to. As such, it signifies our soul, or the truest version of ourselves. The Sun is about expressing our inner selves in the most genuine way that we can. Notice that the baby in the card sits naked and exposed, arms spread out, absorbing the sun’s rays. The baby’s nakedness is liberating rather than shameful, and it meets the sun’s warmth with openness rather than fear. We can view The Sun as a powerful invitation to find strength and freedom in the vulnerability of expressing our truest selves. It speaks to the joy of being you and letting your inner light shine. We cannot find true happiness when we repress the needs and messages of our soul. When we are really in sync with ourselves and the universe, The Sun may appear to let us know that we are on the right track. The Sun can also reference a spiritual experience involving feeling the connection between oneself and the divine. Perhaps you are awakening to your inner power and your connection to the universe, or it is time for you to. The choice to depict the figure in the card as a baby points to the fact that we cannot truly connect with the energy of The Sun if we are burdened by the weight of our experiences and the dictates of society. We must face the world unjaded and with openness. Whenever we see The Sun, is in the querent’s best interest to tune into, trust their inner voice, and express it outwardly. Maybe it is time to take up the hobby you have been putting off, speak your truth to a friend, or begin therapy to improve your confidence. Remember that when we listen to and honor that deep part of ourselves, we can never go astray from our path.

Did a tarot card session with my Star Spinner deck, mostly to reconnect with it, and send good energies to apologize for the lack of use (as the deck had told me to work with it frequently when doing a getting to know you spread)

As I was shuffling after a few pulls the Death card popped out and I didn’t realize that the one depicted on the card was Thanatos and his mother Nyx, so I asked the deck if the card that popped out was a sign from Thanatos to show that he’s trying to reach me, and I pulled the Sun

A pleasant surprise from a session where the cards called me out on being all out of wack and giving me brutal honesty on what I need to fix lol
