Movies! Um... Wonder Woman, Charade, Slumdog Millionaire, Pitch Black, It's a Wonderful Life, Up.
Verdict for Wonder Woman…
never seen it | need to see it | hate it | ugh | it was okay | LOVED IT | asdfghjkl
I really loved this movie, haha. Also I’m, like, definitely in love with Gal Gadot, okay? She’s kind of perfect and exactly who I would want to be. *Wipes tear.* You know, she’s just… fdjkslfjdslfjdklsfds.
Okay, well, yes. I really loved Wonder Woman and was so happy with its portrayal of the title character. It’s a bit overlong, with a pretty messy third act, but it’s an emotionally packed spectacle that had me legitimately caring for characters with relatively fleshed out backgrounds and personalities, which is rare for the DCU.
I hated Man of Steel and couldn’t even sit through twenty minutes of Batman V Superman, so… this was a marvelous surprise. Kind of shitty special effects, beautiful cinematography in the beginning, great casting, subpar villain, COLORS, amazing action sequences (hell yeah Wonder Woman yeesss).
This movie’s just really fun. Haha.
Also, it’s a great example of a film that shows feminist ideologies that are actually accurate and not just putting down men or ostracizing them as this horrible species, which is just… inexcusable. Ah. So good.

I’m sorry to say that I’ve never actually even heard of it… Ah. I’m sorry!
Verdict for Slumdog Millionaire…
never seen it | need to see it | hate it | ugh | it was okay | LOVED IT | asdfghjkl
Again, I’m so ashamed, as a self-proclaimed movie buff, to have never actually watched Slumdog Millionaire in its entirety. God. Ugh. I’m horrible. Haha.
Verdict for both Pitch Black and It’s a Wonderful Life…
never seen it | need to see it | hate it | ugh | it was okay | LOVED IT | asdfghjkl
This post is more of a public reminder to make me watch these movies that have been on my list for ages. *Facepalm* Goodness gracious.

I think Up is, easily, one of the best animated films to come out in recent years. I’ve seen it many times. It falls short for me personally when compared to other favorites, but I give this gorgeous film props for keeping me invested in a story that I honestly didn’t expect to enjoy in the slightest. It’s heartfelt, wonderfully paced, and has great voice acting to bring two very humorous and real characters to life.
The antagonist was believable as well, and although I find the… odd age difference, between the antagonist and protagonist, a bit nonsensical (shouldn’t the antagonist be long dead by that point? I feel like he would be…)
REGARDLESS. I love the pacing the most. Pixar, occasionally, has this grandiose ability to allow their animated films to take their time to unfold, and Up is a marvelous adventure that touches on wonderful themes that are timeless, sensible, and meaningful.
