E v B - Getting to know you

Hey - here’s my submission for the getting to know you :)

(Nick)name: Tash

Age: 30 - A fandom grandma! 

Personality Type: I have only seen one HP movie (I know!!) but when I went to Universal Studios in LA the sorting hat placed me in Gryffindor. I’m also INFJ and my zodiac sign is Pisces.

What do you love most about FS?: It’s hard not to cop out and say everything, so I’ll say their absolute trust in one another - their bond is incredible and sees them through every time. I’d love to share that with someone! 

Favorite FS moment: Again, everything! I know it caused distress in the fandom but I really love their arc in Season Four, there were so many great moments and now we get to see them pull together again, stronger than ever. I’m going to go with their reunion hug - such a brilliant moment as Fitz faces up to Mace and Jemma comes running for him <3 

Favorite non-FS character: May

Fun fact about yourself/something you’d like to share: I can’t click my fingers! I’ve also been to SDCC twice in 2013 and 2014, sadly before I was into AoS (was there for The Hunger Games, which was amazing)

Recommend one thing (book, movie, show, etc.): Riverdale - my god the drama is so OTT it’s fabulous! Just when you think nothing else can go wrong / people can’t get any worse they do! It also has great characters and representation plus calls out a lot of stereotypes etc

Oh boy. This month is going to be crazy. GISHWHES starts tomorrow, so that’ll be a crazy week. I’m excited and petrified at the same time. And then I’ll start a new part-time job Aug 15. Again, petrified and excited. And then I’m signed up for a 10k race on Aug 19 that I trained way to little for. Again, petrified and excited. :)

Also. I’m afraid, I hate Monopoly, so I don’t have a preferred playing piece. Back when I was a kid and it was just colored pieces and not fancy shaped ones, I’d always try to get dark-blue. I’m just not made for Monopoly. I’m the kind of person who’d by the cheap streets because I felt sorry for them cause nobody wanted them :)

No doubt you're all over it but I saw the-nerdy-stjarna's ask about gif set makers and wondered if our first project should be just that - adding a sheet to the spreadsheet that says what we all do, if we're open to prompts/requests, what timezone we're on etc There was a sheet like that in last year's and it was quite useful :)

hey! yeah, it’s coming. i remember that from last time too and we’re going to do that again. i figure it’s the easiest way to get that info to everyone :) be on the lookout. i’m working on getting everything set up by today or tomorrow, so everyone has time to get their information in and reach out to different team members before the first challenge starts monday.

Hi, Tash!! Things are uhhhh....y’know. Haha. Dealing with some work drama at the moment and general life stufffff. How’re you??

Yikes, that’s tough, actually! I have a soft spot for Aladdin. I was Jasmine for Halloween as a kid (it had a fake fabric stomach which was white and embarrassed me greatly since I was not white but what can ya do...). But I also love all the animal ones, like the great mouse detective and the rescuers! And now I want to watch old Disney movies, haha.

Thanks - there wasn't a lot of team E chatter happening and I'm a chatterbox, so :) I love that you've been smiling lots lately! They are all awesome things and omg Hawaii is sensational! If you have time/are looking for recommendations I'd highly recommend Kualoa Ranch, that place was amazing! I also love the mega monster answer :)
