I still cannot get a response from my local rescues, our shelters won't take in strays right now, and I am not sure how to go about safely adopting these guys out so...I guess I have 4-6 backyard cats. Slowly working on getting them into free spay/neuter and vaccine clinics so I can at least keep them as healthy as possible and prevent them from making more strays.
Mama Cat (Kate) has slowly started backing off of the little guys and has only been showing up for dinner feedings. She's always seemed to be an outdoor cat, so I'm not overly worried about her, but I am gonna have to trap her to get her spayed at least. No updated pics of this gorgeous lady as she remains elusive, but she is alive and well.
We have a new addition who just showed up one day. MC didn't chase her off like she has done several other cats who've tried to come back here, so I'm thinking she may be from a previous litter of MC's or might be a sibling of hers because they share some features but not a lot.
This is Farah.
She is sweet and submissive (sometimes to a fault because she lets the boys try to punk her out of her food all the time), but she is also so brave and loyal. When she first appeared, she was terrified of me and wouldn't approach. She was starving, though, so she pushed past that and ate from the bowl I made for her. I sat across the patio from her so she could see me, which I think helped. She's eaten at every meal, and she's now comfortable enough to sit near me while she eats, especially because I keep the boys out of her bowl lol.
And the boys are doing well. They are wild and full of life, and I feel like they're getting bigger every damned day lol.

In order, we have Soap (phantom of the opera face), Gaz (black nose and a chin spot), Ghost (big 'ol white face), and John Price (perfect cowl and white wings over the shoulders, also unwilling to give me the hose head he was playing with).
Fun fact: Ghost is, ironically, significantly larger and heftier than all of his brothers lol. He loves to eat.
