Tasks in De Alleskunner
One last look at @becrystalamazed's Task Taxonomy, with De Alleskunner.
A hundred Dutch people are given silly things to do.
Stack some cans!
Chuck cardboard boxes!
Make lunch!
Peer through a washing line!
Jump on an eggbox!
The tasks were far more balanced: fortune played a much smaller role than on ITV's 99 to Beat, allowing tests of skill and co-ordination and dexterity to come to the fore. There were many more quizzes, too.
However, De Alleskunner didn't really introduce us to the contestants as people. This Dutch version is a process show that's mostly about the tasks; the ITV programme is a people show that's about the people who want to test themselves.
There's plenty of meme potential in this show.
My write-up has a couple of very bad puns and at least one piece of Tumblr lore.
