The Devil’s Den
Welcome to the Devil’s Den…
“Nice set boys! Keep up the good work!” Marcus’s voice came through the speaker, “alright boys we’ll pick up tomorrow evening! Don’t party to hard tonight,” Lucas couldn’t help, but stifle a laugh as he watched Marcus look in his general direction, “Aye, mate… I’ll be on some decent behavior,” Lucas said through his laugh, “Scouts honor bruv!” he heard his other band mates laugh as he looked over at them before looking back at Marcus, “I mean it Luke, I don’t have time to continuously bail you out…” he heard Marcus say which only caused Lucas to roll his eyes, “keep talk’n like that Marcus and I will have you bail me out tonight…” he was only half joking, but he could see from Marcus’s stare that he was serious about staying out of trouble. Once Marcus was done with his usual talk, Lucas grabbed his keys off the table, “yo! Lukey you coming with us to the Devil’s Den?” he heard Nicholas say from the studio door, “uhm… yeah why the hell not it’s been a week or so since the last time I went,” he said with a light smirk, “but don’t let me get too fucked up… I’m sure Rae wouldn’t be to happy,” he joked as a light chuckled escaped passed his lips as he slid his keys into his pocket before grabbing his phone from the charge and texting Rae, “I’ll just let her know I’ll be out late,” he said after typing out a message to Rae, before sending it and slipping his phone into his pocket. “Come on mate the boys will be there and we’re just gon’ have a li’tle fun,” Nick said with a wicked grin, “you know that look worries me a bit,” Lucas said shaking his head with a light chuckle, Nick patted his back a bit, “don’t you worry mate, I’ll watch out fer ya,” he says as he guided Lucas out of the studio and over to the uber that had been waiting for them, “y’all make me worry,” Lucas laughed as he shut the door behind him and buckled his seat belt. It wasn’t long until the Uber pulled up to the Devil’s Den, a place Lucas called where most if not all kinds of drugs were sold under the table, plus of course the overly large bar in the center of the room and the bands that played were those just trying to be discovered. It was home to Broken Republic before they even made it big, so of course Lucas couldn’t pass up a chance to go back to the Devil’s Den.
