Johnny Vegas, on being told he in fact cannot drop Alex Horne from a 7 metre winch into a bathtub, instead just got him to wear some lovely sparkly high heels and do a nice little walk. And I mean, honestly, same.

WE ARE HALFWAY THORUGH!*

Its our first channel 4 series and our 1st of the Covid series. In addition to social distancing, we have a new intro films featuring glasses for Greg and a new Greg main portrait.

This series has a lot of very vocal claims that Greg will be strict on the rules. I don't think he's less strict in other series but I do think this is one of the most disqualification heavy series. In terms of tasks I really remember difference between team tasks due to the schedule of filming and the first use of the garage for tasks.

I think this is the only series, at least that I've rewatched so far where I truly feel bad for a contestant but Kathrine Parkinson is just so bad at the show. I think this feels sad rather than funny , in comparison to Nish Kumar or David Baddiel's failures for example, because she a comedic actress not a stand up comedian so she doesn't quite pull off instantly spinning her failures into jokes In the same way others do. The dynamic of Richard Herring and Daisy May Cooper dose a lot to bring the zaneyness to the show but I'm not sure either of of them are really top tear for me. This dose mean that, Johnny Vega and Mawaan Rizwan are doing a lot of the heavy lifting for my enjoyment this season. Based on this post:

Mawaan Rizwan is so cute and funny, I love him lots

I love Daisy’s meltdown during the final task when she just gives up and chomps on the grapefruit, because if she had put the tiniest bit of effort into any of the prize tasks she would have won series 10. Like brought a pencil instead of a kabob stick, or two bottles of wine instead of one.
