In a lot of ways the best review for this Series would be welcome back series 8 vibes. Don't ask me to explain they just fill a similar space in my brain.

In terms of production it's not got any massive changes or additional. The house theme and location are both fun but not like super involved or interesting.

In terms of tasks I think it's got some of the simplicity of classic seasons but still has plenty of multilayer high budget of the later seasons. I guess an example of this might be the watermelon table team task or follow the string to find that you've caught a fish. There are a few tasks this season that I'm not particularly fond of for various reasons but nothing that like tanks an episode

I do love this cast Nick Mohammad was the only one I would have recognized prior to this airing, but unlike other series I have actually put in the an effort to watch stuff by all of them after the fact. Which dose mean honestly watching back, Of Course John Robbins is dressed as Freddie Mercury and Of Course Steve Pemberton made a cryptic crossword. In terms of there performance on this show they are all hilarious and I really think its a stand out cast dynamic. I love the moment where Sophie Willan calls the Prize task presents and then everyone who goes after her dose as well.
