i’m very glad to see heiji back for a lot of reasons but i think the biggest one is the sheer fucking comedy of imagining an outsider overhearing him and conan. because like. obviously he treats conan like his actual age so all their conversations sound like Very Serious detective business and genius-level deductions. except without context it looks like heiji is fucking insane and going “so unless the time of death was faked, there was no way the body could’ve reached that level of composition under those circumstances” to a fucking 7 year old
