Virgin: I've been trying to go to this place for awhile. Finally found the right DJs to follow and was able to give the right name at the door. I loved the whole set up to get there. Elevator down. Past the bowels of the hotel. Right through the wine cellar. Bam. You're in. And a stripper pole! Are you serious?? I was totally all over that thing.
earlyBIRD: We walked in and no one was there. Just how I like it. This gave us the opportunity to have our own seating in the back "private" room with the stripper pole. virGIN was on that thing like white on rice. I left around 2 and the crowd was diverse but not crowded.
Ava Lounge is a roof top lounge in not too far from Times Square but a little closer to Colombus Circle. Party started at 10 pm with drinks ranging from $8 for beer to $12 for mixed drinks.

Zero : Not much of a view. I guess you can see KINDA see Times Square. The place itself was good though. Loved the dimmed lighting. Made everything seem orange and made of stone.
Virgin: The lobby had this crazy fish tank that was really cool. The elevators were kind of packed tight but no really a problem. Like Zero said, not much of a view but the actual lounge area was great to hang out at. Too bad there weren't any seats for us. I wanted to go to that little cove in the back but it was always crowded.

Zero : Nice view. A little chilly. Where are those heat lamps? I like the white seats outside. Look futuristic. Sadly they aren't very comfy. I want to climb that ladder on the side of the building to the roof. Good place to hang out with a group. Try to grab one of those cabana rooms ASAP.
Virgin: I felt so lost going here! It took me forever to realize that there was a second floor. I was wondering where all those people were disappearing to. Why didn't you guys tell me it was a roof top lounge? Anyway. Yeah it was a good place to hang out with a group. Not too crowded outside but I guess that's cuz it was getting cold outside.
earlyBIRD: Where did all these people come from if the party started at 10??? I guess it was the hotel guests and what not. Music was too loud inside to have a conversation. Went outside. It was still loud but at least I could talk to some friends. Agreed with the view. Very nice.

Zero : Cool place. Felt like I was chilling in a cloud cuz of the fog machines blasting. I felt like I should have been doing racy things in the bathroom cuz of the red light bulb glaring down on me. Got there early so we got our own private booth. Nice. Classic hip hop tracks? Sweet Deal. I still love "Ghetto Superstar"
Virgin: Wow, never seen anything like dis before. When they say Red Egg and didn't expect EVERYTHING to be red ! Holy Crap! They have a fog machine. It's like I was high without being high :)
earlyBIRD: You know what I like coming to places early? Cuz then I can get the best seats! They actually didn't start at 11 pm due to setting up. A nice chill place for those who arrive early and leave early. By the time I left the place at 2 am it really started getting crowded.
SWIRL: Sorry. I can't dance to hip hop. Left with earlyBIRD.
