Psalms 11:3- There’s nothing a good person can do when everything falls apart.
Ngarana,
It’s unclear how to express ourselves at your burial. It’s a messy and empty feeling .
You’ve chosen to rest and we’re here to celebrate your life. So let’s do it like you’d do with a smile and wit.
Growing up I heard stories of how clean you taught your children to be, they had their nails and hair done at all times. Dad says they worked hard in the farm and stayed clean at the same time.
You instilled discipline in them and gave them the life that they now live and in turn your grandchildren’s life’s.
Your long hair and smile made you a beauty in your days. (You passed on this gene to your girls, their hair is amazing shosh!)
Shosh, your determination will forever speak to us. We’re awed by how you ran a farming business without any help to put your kids through school though you didn’t have one. We salute you mama.
You’ll be remembered for your laughter and cheerful nature. Its said *“ hukua na ubaya na mtu, ulikua ule msee”*
Njuguna will forever be grateful for your chicken gift after academic excellence. He’s a better and responsible farmer.
I’ll miss how you had your own coined names for everyone other than their real names. Like how you’d call out Njeri and when all answered you’d say “ Njeri wa Kariuki “ Your dance moves will be missed by all especially Nelius who’s memory of you is based in a dance you made with Sam.
Your easy going nature will surely be missed and words of wisdom hidden in witty kikuyu phrases cia mataaro.
Your teachings will be passed on to generations shosho.
Fare thee well. May peace be upon the family.
