These delicious shrimp burgers are a seafood lover's delight. Made with fresh shrimp and a blend of flavorful ingredients, they are perfect for a summer cookout or any time you crave a tasty seafood burger.
Ingredients: 1 lb fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined. 1/2 cup breadcrumbs. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 1/4 cup finely chopped red bell pepper. 2 green onions, finely chopped. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 egg. 1 tablespoon lemon juice. 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 burger buns. Lettuce leaves. Sliced tomato. Sliced red onion. Tartar sauce for serving.
Instructions: In a food processor, pulse the shrimp until finely chopped but not pureed. In a large bowl, combine the chopped shrimp, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, red bell pepper, green onions, garlic, egg, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well. Form the mixture into 4 patties and refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up. Preheat a grill or stovetop grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the shrimp burgers for about 4-5 minutes per side or until they are cooked through and have a nice char. Toast the burger buns on the grill for a minute or two until lightly browned. Assemble the burgers by placing lettuce leaves on the bottom bun, followed by a shrimp patty, sliced tomato, and red onion. Spread tartar sauce on the top bun and place it on top of the burger. Serve the shrimp burgers hot with your favorite side dishes. Enjoy!
