By the way, my Tatarstan OC wears clothing inspired by real national tatar clothing designs. The headdress my OC wears is called kalpak or kalfak, the kalpak version is better for English ears. Some tatars also wear fur coats during winter.

Note: tatars usually don't wear scarfs, but we get mistaken for russia so often,that I decided to add scarf to my design of Tatarstan republic. The red scarf is the symbol of russia's influence on us and it's also something that slowly suffocates all tatars and makes us loose ourselves.

But I'm not so sure about Slavic Russia getting the joke, I hope Russia won't spunk me for that one.😆

If we are talking seriously: yes, sometimes Russia acts kinda like a mother towards their colonies and ex-colonies. Ethnically-Russians will tell you, that your ethnicity didn't exist before and Russia "created" your ethnicity. We hear this about Tatarstan and tatars. If you ever heard something along of "Be thankful I gave birth to you/raised you", you will understand what I mean.

Also, if Native Americans hear something about Alaska being "created" by Russia, don't act like I didn't warn you about this. I recommend to debunk this myth or make fun of it like I do.

And yes, tatars actually are more related to Turkey, Bulgaria, ancient Sarmatia/Scythia, Mongolia and maybe Finland/Hungary.

Russia threatened tatars again.

Oleg Kashin (popular russian blogger) said he wants to destroy tatars and tatar language, because we might be able to build our own "Osman Empire". Do you understand what you're saying, dumbass? If you try to erase tatars, tatars will fret and fume to protect tatar language! We can't tolerate Russia's humiliation of Tatarstan and tatars for too long, you won't get a new Osman Empire, but you will get a new civil war this way!

Also some facts: the territory of Tatarstan is equal to the size of Lithuania🇱🇹, and population of Tatarstan is equal to the population of Wales. We are small, we can't build a new Osman Empire from this, but Tatarstan is still a wolf, just a small young wolf, I guess
