“Uh.. I think I’m lost.” {Either or both!}

Well. This was certainly new.

Gaster had seen his fair share of odd looking creatures. Being a monster, that sort of thing came with the territory. And at first, he thought he was looking at a pair of Whismun. But no- these creatures weren’t monsters. He wasn’t sure what they were.

“It certainly seems that way, doesn’t it? I don’t believe I’ve come across creatures of your kind before...”

"Link!!!!!" The yellow fairy flew right up to Link's face and glared at him. "I know that's you! Just where do you think you've been?!! Why have you never so much as visited?!??"

The air was just as he remembered it, but then again, the hero rarely forgot anything. What had possessed him to return? He couldn’t remember the initial thought that had made his feet carry him to this part of the forest, through the twists and turns, dips and drops that landed him in the strange land of Termina.

Hadn’t he promised to visit once upon a time ago? Not even five minutes after being in the land reminded him thoroughly of his words, a familiar bright light of gold practically blinding his view rather unexpectedly.

“--?!” Link stumbled back some, eyes blinking rapidly whilst sapphires tried to focus on the little fay giving him a good scolding. He couldn’t even find the proper words to speak at first, stunned into silence, mind going on a trip down memory lane. It had been... so long since he’s seen her. “... T-tatl?” he finally murmured, at least having the decency to look apologetic, “I... I’m sorry, I... I just got caught up in things...”

Many, many, other things. Still, it made no excuse for his disappearance. She had every right to be angered with him.

“... I’m... I’m sorry... I... I didn’t mean to--” His gaze went downcast, unable to finish the statement for he didn’t really know what to say. It was only when he lifted his head to look at her once more that his gaze seemed to soften a bit, still looking incredibly sorry. 

It was good to see her again.

Tael stared up at the enormous Helmaroc King, his eyes wide with amazement. "Wow, you're really big!"

The Helmaroc King stares down at the fairy before him, unamused with the little creature. “Congratulations. You can tell I’m big. You’re the only creature who’s ever told me how big I am. I bet you sure feel smart.”

{✌ Tell us about your best victory!}

“That’s an easy one.

“Even though I’ve had my share of victories, one of my favorite and most memorable occurred on Windfall Island. It was one of the first times my Master had sent me to look for young girls with pointed ears. When I came across the island, I happened to spot not just one, but two girls with pointed ears.

“What happened next was the moment I proved myself to my Master, though he was not there to witness what I had done, I managed to snatch both girls, one in each claw, while also causing as much destruction as I could. Which, really, was quite easy. The roofs of those buildings weren’t meant to hold the weight of a Helmaroc.

“By the time I left, most of that little island was wrecked and in shambles. I’d managed to grab both of those girls. And though it wasn’t a day where I killed countless people, I see it as a victory. For it was the day my Master finally saw just what kind of monster he’d raised.

A King.”
