Some more Prom/reunion party fits for our favorite (unnofficial freak) couples... excluding whatever Announcer and Rarl Kove has going on. You can probably tell which pair was my favorite to draw and it starts with Miyuki and ends with Spork.
Elite Red and Purple's fits here -> Behold!!!
DYNAMIC RAMBLE BELOW
Miyuki and Spork could be described as young adults with heavy responsibilities, but they seek to relive fun moments. Miyuki, especially considering her unfortunate long life and the forceful removal of her childhood during an era where having a childhood was necessary. Although her circumstances go beyond any normal Irken's comprehension (aside from Rarl Kove due to his punishment to become an eternal servant), she can see how Spork could somewhat understand and even share similar feelings regarding their duty. Spork, who had plans outside the Empire, was suddenly assigned to be her bodyguard under Rarl Kove's request during her ascension to Tallest (and her first taste of freedom from the Control Brains, having some sense of control over herself. Anyways, these two would have lots of fun doing things that don't require them to be the "bigger person" in the room- just let them have fun together.
Zim and Skoodge are kinda one sided, mainly bc of Zim's lack of awareness regarding the fact that Skoodge is possibly the only Irken who actually sees Zim in a positive light. Skoodge does a lot for Zim and not in grand acts of loyalty or whatever, no, mainly just simple acts. He's aware Zim barely acknowledges it, but he chooses to keep going. When Zim does acknowledge it, though, he kinda buffers and has to take a moment to process or "rationalize" (with Zim logic calculations) Skoodge's "ulterior motive". Skoodge is smart enough to know how to navigate a bit around Zim (not 100% but just enough to live comfortably with him as dormmates)
Tak and Tenn are unique as I believe that when it comes to Seniority, it doesn't matter too much unless height is put into consideration or if you have an official title/higher ranking, excluding height. Tenn is supposedly Tak's senior by a few (Irken) years, and they knew each other in the past. Unironically Tak took her Invader training much more seriously since she "looked up to Senior Tenn" which led to a shift of personality, and Tak focused on her own self worth in the Empire. Tenn was held back during training, which actually kept her alive since she wasn't present during Zim's rampage on Impending Doom 1... Tenn still has some nostalgic soft spot for Tak because of their past, and Tak has moved on from that stage of her life- though she does take it a little easy on Tenn (only cause she KINDA feels bad but not that much...)
Announcer and Rarl Kove are not even toxic yaoi, it's just toxic toxic... Announcer seems to exist to spite Rarl Kove not only cause of his face and voice mimicking Rarl Kove's deceased husband, but also that Announcer is a reminder that Rarl Kove's "long life" is a punishment. Announcer (unintentionally) adopts certain perks/details that are unique to Rarl Kove's memory of his late husband such as the ribbons (a signature craft during Rarl Kove's era where ribbons were part of a uniform due to the materials they had) and also Announcer having traits in honor to the Control Brains. He has no "love" for the organics but his "affections" lie on machines. He's officially the Control Brain's "favorite errand boy" whilst Rarl Kove is the Control Brain's "least favorite old thing"... anyways Rarl Kove should turn him to scrap (ANNOUNCER JUST KEEPS COMING BACK)
@krispibuggrzzz hosted a ship art contest over on the IZ Lost & Found server and I decided to enter with some Princess and the Pauper inspired TaTR! In Top of the Line, Tak took Tenn's place using a holographic disguise, so her as the pauper and Tenn has the princess was too perfect.
I suppose they would be "The Invader and the Janitor"
More details on a hypothetical Zim Princess and the Pauper AU below 👀
First of all, when I do fusion fics with Zim characters, I like changing a lot of details from the story I'm putting the characters into rather than doing 1:1 the same story. It makes it, like, new and exciting, you know?
Anyway...
In this universe, Irken colonies are ruled by queens (think like an ant colony mixed with the British empire). The current queen of the Foodcourt Colony is my OC Bea, mother of Zim.
Also in this universe, like my other universes, Tenn and Zim are twin siblings. They're both royalty, but Tenn is the heir to their colony's throne.
Tak, meanwhile, is a poor worker of Sizz-Lorr (though he's more considerate than Madame Carp, he still can't let Tak free until she pays her debts...for now)
The Foodcourt Colony mainly exports snacks, but their stockpile has suddenly vanished! How sad, how horrible! Bea decides to save their kingdom by arranging a union between Tenn and the rat king Skoodge. Tenn isn't pleased by this at all.
Enter the Foodcourt Colony's advisors: Red and Purple. These two goons stole and hid away all the snacks as part of their plan to take control of the Foodcourt Colony. Their next step was to present their snack stockpile as if they worked hard to create it. Grateful for the save, Queen Bea would give them Zim and Tenn's hands in marriage, making them royals. Then Red and Purple would arrange a plan to make the rest of the royal family tragically perish in an "accident" and marry each other to make sure the colony and snacks went to them and them alone.
Unfortunately for them, neither expected Tenn to be betrothed to Skoodge! So they'd have to put a stop to that wedding.
Meanwhile, Tenn and Zim wander into the outer colony under cloaks to get away from it all. Tenn bumps into Tak and the two bond. They have an enchanting evening and fall deeply in love during their fling, but pry themselves away from each other before morning because they know they can't end up together.
When Tenn comes home that night, she gets kidnapped by Red and Purple! They frame it as her running away out of protest so she wouldn't have to marry Skoodge.
Tak catches wind of this and decides to keep everything in order by disguising as Tenn until she's recovered. Tak also tries to investigate the kidnapping, but Zim tries to stop her under the assumption that Tak is behind Tenn's disappearance and is just trying to get their and Skoodge's fortunes.
Red and Purple learn from Zim what's happening and they decide to use this to their advantage. They kidnap Zim as well and trap both him and Tenn in a salt mine. They expose Tak as a fake and tell Bea the tragic "news:" her smeets are dead! But they both offer to be Bea's new mates in these trying times. She only agrees to acquire their snack stockpile.
In the end, the wedding is crashed by Tak, Skoodge, Zim, and Tenn! Red and Purple are exposed and the colony is ACTUALLY saved! Tenn and Tak also profess their love for each other! The citizens are like... that's great and all, BUT WHAT ABOUT THAT WEAK ECONOMY?
