You are taking a nice “touch some grass” walk in the woods and you find a little weird trail and it leads you to a weird run-down but tidy looking cottage with an overgrown garden outside and you open the door and look inside and it’s just me sitting on the floor giving the mutant turtles from tmnt my chronic exhaustion.

Hey guess what, your local turtle enthusiast is also into: The Ponies:tm:! Yes indeed, I have a very big soft spot for those guys. Watched the g4 show in my mid-teens and made so many pony ocs, and every once in a while my friend and I watch some of the g1 shows because they are chaos. So when I saw @/nox-icate ‘s mlp-tmnt crossover I knew exactly what I had to do.

And since I haven’t actually done up coloured versions of the Tat bois yet, here the ponies are with their og turtle counterparts:

I might do up the tmht:London boys as well, it would be fun to see the differences in design between each of my iterations :3c. Right off the bat, I know London Donny would NOT be a flutter pony lol.

Tattarrattat Draxum

He was too round at first so my friends helped me get the shape down, and now I have a wonderful messup of a goatman <3

Unlike canon Draxum, this guy is just a hermit mad scientist alchemist living in a giant, empty tomb of a mansion. It’s near impossible to travel to the human realm and back to the fairy realm (though humans and human detritus tend to have an easier time slipping in) so there’s no big plans of world domination here, just a sleep deprived goat and his two coin-familiars which he made while studying to create his homunculi.

I was plotting Big Mama things:tm: in my Tattarrattat iteration/au and remembered how it’s heavily implied in Rise that BM and Draxum knew each other personally before the whole mosquito stealing incident (spawning the fan fav lines; “You must really learn to use the dimbly door” “And YOU must learn to use real words!”). My brain caught that and immediately went “oooooh it’s Wicked but Big Mama and Draxum” so. Enjoy that visual.

Popular is playing over and over in my head with Big Mama singing it to a very unamused/doesn’t wanna be here Draxum. This is either the best or worst thing that my brain has ever come up with.

Half of me wanted to keep Tattarrattat Leo and Raph secret since their alive status is very much unknown for the first part of Tat’s story, but also, the joy of sharing creative endeavours

I think I mentioned in the MLP design post that Raph is a ring fighter (by choice not force)— after their brief stint with death the two were fixed up by the hermit Leatherhead and grew up on the outskirts of Fairyland, in a small town called Varanon. Though Leatherhead keeps the two fed and sheltered, he is not good with kids or folks in general, so Raph and Leo mostly raised themselves.

Tattarrattat is the longest palindrome in the English language, it’s an onomatopoeia of someone knocking on a door. It’s also stupidly difficult to write lmao. In this AU, Michael is an anthropomorphic turtle trying to survive and enjoy life in a human-only (plus one turtle) NYC, helped along the way by his two human friends April and Casey. Until, one day, Michael is pulled into a perplexing world of fae, yōkai, and other mystical beings- including the assistant of the guy who pulled Michael there (rude), who claims that both it and her are homunculi made by that guy! Seriously, who does this weirdo think it is? If the assistant weirdo wants Michael to take it seriously, it’s gonna have to help him 1. Escape out of this creepy lab, 2. Find a way back to the human world, and 3. Search for what happened to the other two supposed homunculi.
